Some great promotional photos, Matt.
She still cuts it, like nothing has done since.
"When were those made, then?" - something overheard more than once.

Wow you have been busy! Great pics Matthew, I would have killed to be let loose in that hall with all those XM in Lyon.
I have a little something for the event. There will be more later this year.

Yes, today is the official Birthday of the XM, as in the launch at Lyon Expo on 23rd May 23rd, plus it is the BIG 30!! I am looking forward to celebrating in a 'fringe' event at the Citroen 100th Rally near Coventry next week and I have also gathered a selection of XMemmorobila (see below). I hope to post up some further photos and video links later today, but in the meantime well done XM and here's to the next 30 years!! With regards, Matthew T.
Hmm...
That V6-24 badge is looking mighty lonely without a wing to stick it to...

Do you have one to sell?

Having said that, down badging is all the rage...

where did you get the 1:87 XM models from. I like XMs and model trains, and have a DS, 2 2CVs and 2 CXs in my modeltrain set, but have been unable to find any XM so far. I have ordered, however, in Germany some models that a company (now about 4 months ago) promised would come out soon, but have still not heard. They would cost €40!! per model, but promise to be better looking than the models you have, but you have some, and I have so far none ;-).

I cannot wait to see your offerings Russ and hopefully there might be a T shirt in due course.

I have a couple of a spare badges Will, but unfortunately I am tempted to retain for future replacement and/or attachment elsewhere. If it is helpful I could always lend you one for a resin copy!

The models are 1/61 scale, made by Majorette and very readily available on the Bay

I thought I ought to get on with plans for the celebration at Coombe Abbey Park this weekend and I have now bought ingredients for the cake! My suggestion is a gathering of owners and cars might be attempted at the Rally site on Saturday around 3.00 (tea time!) and hopefully that might be acceptable. I am camping for the weekend and will be in attendance with my Meteor Grey 1989 V6 saloon and and blue/grey dome tent. If folks are happy to track me down and assemble at the tent around 3.00pm that would be brilliant and I will also be making contact and spreading the word from arrival on Thursday pm. It would be amazing if we could assemble 30 cars, or at least ten and I look forward to seeing you there! With regards, Matthew T.

Happy birthday to my XM.... happy birthday to it. I'll give it a nice wash tomorrow.
