I took this beauty to the scrapyard today, it became quite an eyesore and so for the last few weeks have just been waiting for a sunny day. Twas a lovely day, and was sad to see it sat how it is in the picture, I am usually an estate or saloon sort of guy but this hatchback does indeed do something for me. Bad time, what with having too many cars...

I like to keep records of what sells as one of my responsibilities at the workshop is sales (my father doesn't have the patience to deal with 50% of the people I talk too), so here's some I'd like to share;

31 people have bought spares off this car
8 different countries; UK, Ireland, Spain, Norway, Australia, Thailand, France, Portugal
Most asked for part - Towing eye covers

Apologies to those I didn't get parts off for, when I first listed it for breaking I would have taken everything off but as the car was getting more and more stripped, then put on the trailer, then the wheels were bought so it was on blocks, I didn't fancy going underneath by the end. Also filled the interior with scrap so those lovely cloth seats have been ruined, sadly, along with trim that was asked for.

Thanks all, and as much as I enjoyed breaking it, hopefully the next car I pick up is repairable and will be back in XM estate ownership

Big thankyou to Eathan for the way the car has been slowly broken to meet requests for parts. He's been really prompt and attentive over this, and I'm expecting a duo of French horns to arrive at any moment, as the BX needs to shift from a tad apologetic to nicely assertive.

XM estates for disposal

I have two non-running 2-litre petrol XM estates which I need to dispose of. I need to remove the cars so cannot sell individual parts. I would rather they went to someone to help keep theirs running rather than to a scrapyard, so if anyone is interested please contact me and I will provide more detail.
