Headlining Trim from a S2 needed?

Post by chillmax » Mon Aug 17, 2015 2:38 pm

Hi All

I've managed to lose an unusual trim part, still don't know what I've done with it!!!!! So does anyone know anything going at the breakers? I approached someone on Ebay, but they never answer and have a horrendous rating as well.

It's the centre rear trim piece that runs around the headlining, just in front of the 13th window, plus the little clips.

Cheers - Justin (Surrey)

Hi Justin,

is this a Hatch (Saloon) model Or estate?

If Hatch one I could possibly help there!

Scrappers arent much help these days, if they dont sell anything off a car in a month, they get rid!

It must be a hatch as he mentions the cutouts for the inner rear window.

Morning all

Indeed, as Dieselman says, a hatch coz of the 13th window ;-)

Would really be interested if you've got it, VERY unfortunatley I must prep her for departure, as my CX Safari project is MEGA bux, and although the XM is better in many ways than my C6, I just don't really drive her anymore ;-( SUPER sad - she's like a rocket next to the 6!!!

If I could get it asap would be great, you're not around SUrrey are you?

Cheers - Justin

PM for my number.

PS it's a late S2, is that black or grey, can't remember, and she's all snug in the garage ;-)

Hi Again

I'm not getting notifications about any replies, so sorry for the late reply!!

Oh OK, well I'm happy to pay for your trouble/ time & postage as I really must have this part, so if it's perfect & with all the clips, name your price ;-)

I only mentioned the colour, as I know late S2's switched to a light grey headliner to make the car feel a little bigger, so I was't sure about the surrounding trim, but if you say a 2000/ W is black, great!

How would you like to proceed?

Cheers - Justin

As a backup option, I have one from a late 1999 car, but shipping from France might be a bit expensive.
