Hi everyone just signed up!

The neighbours used to always buy a brand new v6 exclusive every couple of years when I was a lad and I've always wanted one, which leads on to my first Xm I've only had it a month,

Plans are to tidy the bodywork up and drive away at it!

Today one became two when I was messaged by a local fella who had this sitting taking up space. A mid 2000 2.1 td Vsx Auto, an offer was made and it was mine! Plans with this one is to get it recommissioned. Looks like it will need a patch on the rear passenger outer sill and some minor electrical glitches sorted. Drives spot on and suspension works a treat. Great bodywork on it too with only a few trolley dents.

A warm welcome to the Forum Joe and I suspect you will hear from fellow NI resident Ciaran in due course! It tends to be the case acquiring one XM quickly results in a growing collection and I am a major culprit in that respect! My own preference and passion is for S1 models and preferably with a V6 under the bonnet! The XM does look handsome in mandarin and you clearly look after the car. Please do keep us posted on future exploits and there is some great camaraderie and advice to be had on the Forum. With regards, Matthew T.

The mandarin S1 looks great, makes me miss mine.

I suspect Ciaran or Rob Smart will know either, or possibly both those cars.

How did the Mandarin car tow with another XM on the trailer?

The mandarin car is indeed Jonathan-Dyane’s old car. High mileage but well looked after. Welcomevalong to our forum too.

hi ray, nice to see you here.

iirc, that car has done ~300,000 miles. It's in pretty good shape.
