Update! XM now sold! I nice chap from Paisley collected Vader last night - I made the silly mistake of watching the XM drive away along the nearby, long Duke street which was a mistake as it felt like losing a pet. Note to self: never watch your sold car drive away - you will cry. I hope he enjoys it and gets on with it. I recommended he join here too.

Thanks for everyone on here for the help over the last year - the jobs on the car would have taken twice as long without you all - cheers!

Well... That was a bit unexpected and so quickly. Well done and condolences Graeme. I hope it will be looked after, it deserves to be after all that work.

Until I had a Shell fuelcard my car ran on Tesco standard diesel. Other than price I never noticed any difference compared to main brands. I kept detailed records of mpg.

Can't say we notice any difference in our ZX either, and we do a shortish school run every weekday. Only smoke from our 1.9TD is from stem seals!

Na, it seems to still run a bit rough when cold so wasn't down to the fuel.
