That's not to say that the right choice of badge couldn't enhance the value of the car........

Only the AML one works, and actually works rather well.
Try it and see whether anyone actually knows what it is. You could tell people it was an AML executive car after the Lagonda finished production. If it was an Exclusive you could probably get away with it.

Don't think I'll fool anyone with the Aston Martin badge. It's in a diferent league.
I know what you mean Robert, as much as I like my XM, I really would like a Lagonda.

They look fantastic, very striking like the XM. Definately a love it or hate it shape, everyone will have an opinion on it.
And they have a single spoke steering wheel in early cars, massive centre consol
Somone even thought of making one for Peter N

I'd have a Lagonda all day long - the first car to have that level of electronics and an electronic dash!
But, I think I may do a 'minijet' and debadge my XM. I reckon no one will know what it is then.

Yes, a 2.1 engine and manual box would easily fit into that engine bay
A bit expensive to park though, I think it would take up two spaces.

That's right, people tend to judge the car simply by the badge that it's wearing.
