Thanks Matthew, I just sourced one so that's hopefully going to be sent soon. Lovely clear sticky tape is doing a good job of pretending it's fine for now...

Did you ever fing a spare 'H3' Hydractive ECU? With the help of Chris and John I think I might have traced the fault in the suspension (at least narrowed it down)

I am pleased that you have the headlight glass Graeme and if you could confirm the H3 ecu number I will check my spares. With regards, Matthew T.

Hi Matthew, it's Hydractive 1, H3 ECU (I think if it says 'Valeo' and 'H3' on it then it's the same one as I understand the final version of the Hydractive 1 was named H3 - 2- plug type, one black, one white) Got a picture somewhere

And if not, anyone else got one of these? Ideally known to be ok but we can go with anything!

ECU's marked H2 or H2B are pin and function compatible with H3 ones.
Casing of these is usually black paint not silver metal.

Was out in the car at lunch time and after closing the front passenger door the 'left front door open' message remained. I opened and closed it but it remained. I tried manually pushing the door lock button/tabs via the driver door to see what effect it would have and the central locking locked and then sprang open again. This seemed to clear the message and it locked normally when I stopped later.

Anyone know what is going wrong there?

I hope it doesn't start doing what my Xantia did with the locks not allowing the central locking to stay locked - just sprang open again. Never did get that one sorted.

I had the false door open message on one of my cars Graeme and ended up changing the catch as that is the location of the switch. I will check out the hydractive ecus later today. With regards, Matthew T.

In my collection I have a H3 hydractive ecu in silver to match yours Graeme, apart from slightly earlier numbers of 40.91 and S2001. Please send me a PM if you would like the part. With regards, Matthew T.
