K-BAN has a new home

K-BAN is still providing mile after mile of faithful service. I'm gonna tackle the cam cover seal (eventually) and clean up/rust proof/paint the front subframe. Oh I still need to sort a front bumper crossmember too.

K-BAN is also sporting a new cloth trim which is heated front and rear and also split folded!

Did you obtain that with seat heaters or fit pads yourself?

And where did you get a good condition Romana velour interior from?

That car should really have the Sonata velour.

I bought it from a guy on the Facebook page, I've fitted the rear heater switches too but not wired it up (yet)

I still need to find a good pair of Romana outer rear seat bolsters as I'm using the originals.

I think they were fairly common on S2 cars Russ as my 1995 2.0i VSX had one. I am not sure that split leather was an option mind! Regards, Matthew T.

My Mandarin car was optioned with ABS and split fold rear seats.

Certainly knew it was an option, but have seldom seen it. Would make sense if it were only on velour trim.

Mine has a split rear seat (Romana velour) and ABS.

Just out of curiosity... Where any of them heated?

Mine isn't and I don't think heating was a UK option on velour seats, only for leather in the SE cars.
