I have just managed to pick up a genuine Citroen gasket set for the autobox rebuild on ebay for the princely sum of £20 plus postage and apparently the list price is over £300!!! With regards, Matthew T.

Just a bit of luck with the gasket set Russ and I even negotiated a slight reduction in the price and then felt rather guilty! I hope to find some time this weekend to clean out the engine bay and the gearbox outside, otherwise I am still chasing my local mechanic to fit the head gaskets and saving up for the box rebuild. Once I have the engine back I can reassemble quite a lot and I have also found a pair of exhaust manifold gaskets on the bay for around £20 - my main dealer was going to charge over £50!! Courage you have! Still very impressed with what you're doing! I must try never to see, hear or drive a V6 to avoid spending my days off in the engine bay of a rare citroen:)
