A fantastic result and write up, Gasa.

One would think that automotive manufacturers would have used PTFE cable sheath, rather than PVC, but profit trumps long term reliability.

Mercedes had terrible problems with PVC cable sheath break down due to heat, on petrol engine injector harnesses in the early 1990's.

Thanks Dieselman, they couldn't do such a simple thing with quality.

I should have replaced the wires much earlier and avoided the problems that were happening, I think this solved the engine shutdown.

And I finished that, the fuel leak at the pump, I bought a sealing kit, removed the pump and changed the seals, for now everything is fine, no leaks anywhere.

in principle, it is not complicated to replace rubber bands, there are plenty of explanations on various websites, you just need patience and to replace and fix everything slowly

Well done Gasa.
Presumably the valves on the top just unscrew and the seals are underneath.

yes, they are easy to remove, these are pictures from two years ago when a fuel leak appeared under those electric valves, I only replaced the O-ring rubbers under the entire valve, after a while the fuel leak appeared again, on some website I came across information that there are two more O-ring rubbers and that they need to be replaced as well, the entire valve is easily opened to replace those O-ring rubbers. The pictures show where they are located.

Care should be taken not to lose the pistons and springs when the valves are disassembled. There is only one spring and it is located on the piston next to the engine. The piston next to the radiator does not have a spring.
