I found leather dye worked very well indeed.

One side all finished, it makes the top screen trim look really manky in contrast

The vinyl's interesting. All the rubbers on mine have seen better days. There has always been the temptation to put new rubbers on all around (if I could get hold of them ) but this could be a different way to go. I watch with interest.

These are probably available in France. I get a lot of my Vel Satis parts from France as its so easy.

Just a small update, the windscreen is done the wheels are with my tyre man to be shod with rubbery stuff and I've just come in from cleaning my headlamps which has taken about 6 bloom in hours in total, right pita job that was, made use of the 4 sidelight bulb holders too which required some extension of the morrette loom, I even put the rear mudflaps on at the weekend!

The lights, they are my favourite upgrade, driving lights are as good as any car I've been in but pull back on that left stalk and its like you have switched on the sun
