I will keep it for a week or two to make sure its all ok after the MOT and then sell it on, dont like passing them on untill ive got a feel for the car.
Considering it stood on my mates drive for nearly the whole winter used as a shed it fired straight up (on 3 cylinders) when jumped and drove to my house fine, all the elctrickery works now too so it looks solid.
I do like the double length sunroof too although that needed some tickling with lubricant.

All done, 30hrs work mostly with a hoover, vax and DA, just over £300 total spend including insurance and the MOT cost (if i dont fail it tomorrow) and this is the end result

Fingers crossed i have not missed anything and the broken plug and burnt coil are the only reason for the missfire and emissions warning, will find out when the insuance kicks in at 6am and i drive it on the open road for the first (ish) time

Wish me luck!

The 100k does give a certain "middle age" feeling. Ours did the same last year on the way to Scotland - nearly missed it!

As many of you now know a V6 conversion is planned for my poor Prestige in the coming year, i must get a video of it out driving as it is very quiet and sounds really nice with the alteration i have made to it from OE spec.

I will say this conversion surprisingly isnt power driven, its just because its so faultless now i want something to do and a V6 conversion will be fun and i think the 12v V6 looks the pups.

The question is should i delete the A/C? i will elaborate a little as to my thinking. I have a new Condenser and a currently good reliable A/C system but i do not use it, its a window and sunroof open experience in the xm rather than an A/C on one, i hve to say ive never used it in anger, i just like the fact it works.

To make the A/C work on the V6 i will need to get the two pipes made up from the condenser to pump to evaporator, the V6 will come without pump and pipes but surprisingly a lot of the 2.0 stuff will fit (or would appear to use the same part numbers) so its easily doable and i wont like the A/C button in the car to do nothing. However The V6 install with A/C (in my eyes) is awefull, the way that pipe is just laid across the top of the engine like a dead fish, the space taken up by the A/C pump and the way its positioned just looks daft and for shows would look much more tidy without the A/C.

Am i mad? if i didnt fit it i would preserve the condenser and evap and leave them in the car so i could easily retro fit if i change my mind, what would you do?
