 Knew you'd like it. They are good cars, my friend who has one says the engine tone alone just encourages you do drive them hard. You'll struggle to get that below 50mpg!

So come on Jim, Piccies!!!

That's right Russ, they just beg to be thrashed unmercifully and they thrive on it!

I've taken a piccy and need to upload it to my webserver. I have jam and dinner to make first though...

Driving like an old lady (due to even slower tourists and cyclists and very warm weather) Liz managed 40.7 MPG in her petrol XM. This, is a record however.
That is 1119 kilometres on 77.5 litres of petrol. At least that XM has a big tank, wish our wallets were bigger though..:) Happy days!

Was that on the trip computer Jim? You've got a 4 doors model?

Trip computer Jaap? On at basic C1.. You're having a laugh   . Just a trip recorder and I feel lucky to have that on such a fundamentally basic car. I just did the old full tank to full tank method and I used the same pump at the same garage as the last time I filled it...

Mine's a 2 door model. Not keen on little four door cars. They look all wrong to my eyes...

I think the C1 4 door looks quite good, only as it looks exactly like the 3 door apart from the extra door handle! It uses the same panel pressing as the three door, but it just opens. Clever thinking. :D
