Re: CitroJim's Citroens
How long have you been at the sport Jim, I remember it took me years to get a blue belt with Judo. As for Karate, my upper thigh muscles are way too short so no chance. But I never considered to have a go at this again for decades
so well done!
Couldn't find any O rings except the big orange ones on the old ones, perished or vanished...I am weary to take a strut top off but I want two refurbished ones. Not Kingas but rubber ones....

Re: CitroJim's Citroens
Only 7 months Jaap and this is my second grading. We train twice a week and work hard at it with lots of home practice. I practice basics and katas every day.captainhaddock wrote:How long have you been at the sport Jim
I have horrendous problems with kicks of all kinds due to a little knee stiffness but it's getting better as I practice.
Brown belt is pretty senior in any martial art Mark. In karate it's two below black and that's my aim. I don't think I'll quite make black but if I ever get brown I'll be very happy.
One good thing it it keeps you very fit. I'm fitter now at just nudging 55 than I've ever been. And lighter. Truth is I'm having to sell the XM because I'm too small for it now. I get lost in the driver's seat.
Back to car fun and games, the Activa has thrown a new issue for me to think about this evening. Idling at 1500rpm...

Your XM is a paragon of reliability, just fit the drivers seat from the Activa.

They seem to fit me perfectly...Truth is I'm having to sell the XM because I'm too small for it now. I get lost in the driver's seat.

Nice photo, Jim!
My daughter was a black belt in high school, but after a neck injury her doctor strongly advised her not to continue. She followed the doctor's advice, much to our relief.

Possibly best Jan as at black there is rather a lot of contact as an adult. Whilst what happens at a black belt grading is a mystery we do see the end result and it's usually livid bruises and an inability to generally function normally for a few days!Jan-hendrik wrote: My daughter was a black belt in high school, but after a neck injury her doctor strongly advised her not to continue.
