That all appears to be in very good condition, it will be a nice car once done.

There appears to be a timing belt over the cam pulley, is that the remains of the old one, or a new on in place?

who knows, I have yet to take the top apart......the more I look the less happy I am with the work that was done to the engine before it "stopped"

.....but yep, so far (I have not looked under the car/towards the back yet) the general condition looks fine at the moment. "Little bits" such as the edge of the lower wing under the Mud flap , bumper mounts etc have been caught just in time I think.........time to crack out the Bilt & Hamber.

That bodywork is all looking very encouraging, but yes, make sure you stop those brown tinges in their tracks. I don't have a great track record with stopping rust, so I can tell you that its smirking and quiet sniggering will quickly become a 'mwaahahahaha' belly laugh unless you kill it now.
