The original "sports" wheel removed, in favour of the classic big-pad single spoke...

Personal thing, but the sports wheel just looks generic, and not particularly Citroen - just PSA parts bin.
The big-pad wheel is part of what defined the BX.

I like the sports wheel and would have kept it since there are no switches obscured by the spokes.
The rest of you car interior is the sports interior.

Personal thing - I also find the BX Mk1 dash just plain ugly, where the facelift one is nicely sculpted.
Good to have the choice!

I like the original dashboard in beige, not in grey.
The facelift dashboard is very classy, nicely sculptured and soft feel.
