I'm referring to the air conditioner, it turns on by itself when I start the engine, turns on Auto mode by itself, then I have to return everything manually as it was.
I changed the outside temperature sensor on the mirror, but again it doesn't measure well, it throws out dashes or some other nonsensical temperature.

Auto mode is the standard default for the system.

ok, I didn't know, it means that I don't correct the setting, but that it always stays in Auto mode.

Do you really like it that hot in your car? I have had similar problems with the external temp sensor in my 605 (although the one in my XM seems fine), but it has no effect on the climate control system, which works very well (same system as the XM).

I set it to 30 degrees to see if Auto mode will also turn on, it behaves the same at 25 degrees, I just wanted to check if the set temperature has anything to do with switching to Auto mode when starting the engine.
As I also checked the temperature this summer, when the car warms up in the sun, the air conditioner turns on by itself when starting.
I think that such an air conditioning system is unnecessary, that it turns on by itself.

Yes, designed for the Australian (or Spanish, or Southern French) summers perhaps? It's nice not to have to think about it... And in winter I use the air con to reduce fogging of the insides of the windows - the alternative is to have the heater turned up higher, which makes me sleepy.

Does anyone know where the water comes from in the trunk, after a heavy rain the carpet in the trunk is wet along the entire edge, where the trunk door closes. :x

The most likely ingress areas are: the lower mountings for the tailgate lift struts, the rubber seal around the tail-lights, the rear spoiler, or plastic trim where the release handle is, mountings on the tailgate.

Play some water over the outside while looking inside for drips, or sprinkle some talcum powder inside and look for the water tracks.

..yes, in the meantime, I read here some possibilities where it could be the cause of water ingress, but nothing concrete, I didn't find an exact explanation, they will deal with that problem these days.

I solved the leak, the problem was in the spoiler, it poured over the lights and into the trunk, I put silicone on the screws and solved that problem for now.
