Meanwhile, some sill repairs that Paul did several years ago are still hanging on...

You can only really check the strut tops with the wheels hanging, but it does look past it's best.
The rust in the strut tower looks fairly advanced, check thoroughly.

The bottom of the wing is a normal area to be corroded.

Julian i have partial inner wings front sections here from a French car more where the bumper mounts are forwards if they will help but I know where there is a pair of full inner and outer cills along with floor to the exhaust tunnel parts available also from a French car..

Nothing to be ashamed of there, Paul! The arch return/forward part of the sill that you grafted from a green car is still very solid, all these years later. Remember it was James' daily for some time, and then to add insult to injury, i drove it to Edinburgh and back in heavy snow before parking it up... The wing bottom is original and from other salvaged wings I've seen, they like to rot. Alas the flange on the outer and inner sills are toast along most of their length. I don't yet know how far inboard I will need to cut out, so yes, I'm very interested in the inner, outer and floor section you mentioned, even if only as a reference for what has disappeared from BKJ.

The strut tower looks worse in the pic, but i need to be sure it's strong and not fizzing, so I'll be attending to it, whatever.

There's a really useful thread covering sill / floor repairs on the Dutch XM club forum:

https://xmclub.nl/forum/project-le-mouton-noir

It's well worth a look (in addition to the posts on here) - hopefully yours won't be quite so bad!
