The place to show off and tell us all about your XMs (or even other cars). Should it be a big project, or just some general pics, start your thread in here.

For sure there aren't many v6's of any series or type 'in captivity' (even for breeding pairs! )
I would certainly be very interesting to see how many manual s1's there are out there as they
weren't exactly two a penny Xm's new and the lion's share will be autos (s1 and s2).

I agree with you Robert with all v6's needing a head count although this is Paul's "pet project". :D
Maybe I'll have to list a split off faction list separately for s2's and or all v6's! No?

Where do you stop though, one for each model creating separate little threads specific for each
model type owner? This may sound daft but a newbie could glean model specific comments?

Or a general roll call for all models whatever their persuasion in a new thread could create some
interesting feedback. What does everyone think here? :?:

Oh damn, I'm straying off topic although I have mentioned v6's several times. Sorry Paul.

What about creating an online form. With all the different variations of XMs available. A simple form, you select whatever is aplicable, and then by some computer magic, the data is all collated and updates some database/table or other, so that we can do a headcount on what XMs we have on the forum.

Then you could make it searchable. Series 1 or Series 2, Auto or Manual etc ec.

I imagine something like this is possible. It all depends on someone with the skill and time, going ahead and doing it.

For heaven's sake why be so draconian! Just update the roll call at the newest
posting as I have in the summary above.

The other posts can stay fine where they are and be read if you want to
click on the first posting. Use the newest post link on the main section to
cut to the total and leave the rest alone! Thisis a discussion forum not a
library index and these specific cars are being discussed are they not like
my pal's laid up one and the two you know of.

Another contact made through this forum mentioned to me he has one though
I need to check the name.

Not a raw nerve at all Paul: apologies if it reads like that. I just feel erasing posts on a forum isn't
particularly clever when we're all simply enthusing about a common interest at the end of the day.

Do as you want as this thread was your idea at the end of the day. :D

Like we're having now?

Never mind - I'll copy/paste the listing at an appropriate point and make sure it stands out.
When we get as many as it seems possible/likely, a request for piccies to make the roll call
more visual would be interesting too. We've seen Andy's photos and I recall DH's from the old
forum.
