v6 12v Register

Ive got a spare autobox for her! Its here attached to the other spare turbo engine, and I know it works too..

Shame to loose a Black XM, my favorite.. colour..

It is a superb car to look at and drives sublimely but that was before it lost all gears
(lock up) above 2nd and probably gone flat on the spheres as it's sat a few years now.
May need crusty bits on the rear subframe mount attending to but bodywise it's straight
and as near perfect as you can get a 1990 SEi!!

Oh, and I know of a S2 12v PRV V6 Estate, and TWO V6 12v S1's, one a manual and one an auto.. The manual is an Olympic Blue girl, the auto a graphite grey.. Both H plates, though the olympic could be G reg being manual...

Await conformation though, thats a recall, I know its ONE number out from my Land Lords 2.1 SED... and thats H656 BKJ..

Another interesting thread and here are the details of my two 1990 V6 12vs for the Register:

G310 BLY - 3.0 SEi 12v AUTO - VF7Y3AG00 01AG7721 - grey (Platinum) - saloon - 120k miles approx. Sorned - mtxm (Matthew T.)
H651 BKJ - 3.0 SEi 12v MANUAL - VF7Y3AG00 02AG7470 - gold (Champagne) - saloon - 125k miles approx. Sorned - mtxm (Matthew T.)

I am inclined to agree with Andrew that V612vs must actually be almost as rare as 24vs, certainly based on what comes up for sale and what you see at the CCC rallys. The only other recent examples I can think of are the slightly later black car currently for sale and the one that was in storage down south with the 24v and then sold. There are two other early seis that I know with a certain couple up north (which Paul has mentioned - G manual in Olympic blue and H auto in Meteor Grey I think).

I have mentioned these cars Mathew.. incase of duplicating information..

I dont think the 12v PRVs are rarer then 24v's.... they do come up often..

Franklin, is this for S1 cars only, or just PRV eqiupt cars, as Savoy has a S2 1996 PRV 12v car he has been trying to sell...

Personally, I think we'll keep this for Series 1 cars only - that's if everyone is happy with that?!!
