Just did a c.500 mile round trip this weekend; A120, M11, A14, M6/M6 Toll/M54/A49.... hardly touched a B road... As is becoming the norm with this car, no-one needed me to stop on either leg of the journey...

So, the economy was 32 mpg @ and average of 62.8 mph over 491 miles.

32mpg is very respectable for a TCT manaul.

There wasn't much stopping/starting and much of the time it was sitting at around 85 in 5th. But I think it's OK. The average since my ownership is 28.9 mpg.

i average about 27 mpg 31 on a long jurney but as i run mine on lpg at 57-8p ltr its very cheep motoring. ian

I reckon Ian means between 27 and 31 mpg at a cost of between 57 and 58 pence per litre.

I just wish we could still buy fuel in gallons! We use miles, yards, inches (wheels) etc.... and economy is always quoted in mpg.
