She PASSED! No advisories and praise from the tester. Took the opportunity to fix a couple of trim/rattle bits underneath while it was on the ramps

Yes, my first with this car.

I can't take all the credit, to be sure! I've only had it since January, and 5,000 odd miles, but it's fair to say I have invested in it. But you can't polish a t**d, so I think I was fortunate to find a good one on eBay at the time. I do need to get a few things done - like the alloy refurb and replacement inserts on the trim etc. but essentially, unless something goes 'pop' it's servicing (and a little polishing lol!) only for the next 12 months.

I know Phil, i do love mine, but i hate driving the Zaferia at work for the long journey !!

they will pay all my diesel if i had a diesel car, so although i havn't advertised it yet, it seems to be holding on to me ,
I will be very sad to see it go , but i will hold on until a really good diesel comes along.

I don't want to jump into the purchase of another Xm, and fall into a money pit ! as all mine really needs now is the manifold sorting, and iv'e got a few days off soon , so i may attack it !
