Hi all ,
Just had 4 new Michelin Energy savers 205/65/15 fitted to my estate with nitrogen gas that was the size on the old tyres and marked in the owners manual.

Tell me about the nitrogen gas in the tyres. I have heard of this every now and again, but whats the benefit?

Really nice pictures there, you have 3 stunning Xms 8-) Especially the grey one, thats lovely.

I have nitrogen in my tyres (my tyre place always puts it in with new tyres). The tyres lose less pressure over time and there is less of a change in pressure with increase/decrease in temperatures. So tyre wear is supposed to remain more even.

No idea how true this is, if you keep an eye on pressures there isnt really any need.

BIt of a pain having to go to the tyre shop to get a wee blast of air put in, but if it negates the need to do that, then its no problem. But air is about 80% nitrogen anyway...
