So the leak was the strut return hose, which has started to split, thanks fellas. Got part from GSF, will fit in a few weeks.xantia_v6 wrote:Strut return hose. They go brittle after about 15 years and crack. Readily available from GSF on eBay.

Unfortunately the clutch cable has snapped, anyone know where I could get one? Is there a particular cable for the 2.1 TD?

There are only two types of clutch cable for RHD-XM. BE3 gearbox as fitted to 2.0i petrol and all others with cable operation, fitted with ME5T gearbox.
You can get a cable made up by Speedy cables.
