I can see why you went for the V6. Was that two, or three complete laps of the island?

That was a shame that one was scrapped.

Dean.

Have you swapped the front suspension struts and ARB to the V6 items?

Suspension struts are the larger ones on mine anyway, the ARB is the original and currently so are the spheres.

I've tried many speed bumps and twisty roads today actually and im glad i didn't, it rides very well and the damping is spot on. Given that the engine and gearbox assembly weigh the same i saw no reason to change them. The only thing i have noticed is that the nose pops up when accelerating hard off the line but then it did with the 2.0 engine as well, to a degree.

With the V6 it actually rides much better and the car feels more solid if that makes sense.

Its the front lifting, the back doesn't seem to drop any more than it used to, if you look in the youtube video on the previous page, at about 14:15 where i make a swift getaway at the roundabout you can see the front lift slightly as i pull away.

Have you replaced the track control bushes yet? The rear bush is set to give a 4 degree anti-rearing function.

As the centre of gravity of the V6 engine is higher than the 4 pot, I would change the ARB, then the car is as it was designed to be.
