, to be fair she did like bringing in the dairy herd evry morning when we stay with my uncle in Bantry but to use it as a bribe..............na, i dont think it would wash.

Had another play today, got the cat off which i think will be replaced, i got a genuine Oxygen sensor from ebay last week for £20 so that saved about £200  , not sure if i should go for a new 103 spec cat or a non approved version though????? for 19years old mine isnt too bad but its starting to break up

Got all of the heat sheilding off from underneith too which required the removal of the gear selector ass, handbrake equaliser and height corrector actuators, all of which will be cleaned and greased to make things run a little smoother, before it came off the road i noticed after lifting the car on a jack the front would not settle properly and would bounce from high to low on its own suggesting the height corrector links need a good clean and grease too

I take it that rust is the front wheelarch double skinned outrigger section, if so it's exactly like my Cobalt car was, though you have more rust staining on the cill.

Yes Will it is, the clip on the fuel tank vent you can see in the picture was the cause, the staining is just where manky water has drained out, the inside of the outrigger is totaly clean apart from the hole.
Hopefully if i take my time you will never see the repair, especialy with new underseal and stonechip going on, im in two minds as to whether the fuel tank comes off now too........

A slight update, my arb bushes arrived from citroen today so im in the process of tipping the back of the subframe down to get to them, my Auto gear lever turned up too, direct from france, all new and shiny, i was very happy with it and the price, untill i tried to fit it and found it was from a left hand drive car  back to citroen tomorrow.........

Go on then!

I didn't think there would be a difference. Just use the same one but turn it round.

You see, i never gave it a thought but its all wrong if you try and fit it, the lever is shaped and the button is too so if you turn it round its just.......wrong
