Deep shame from incompetence again..............

Twas the balancer shaft timing, I have no explanation, as soon as I took the cover off it was obvious it was out It's times like these I question my sanity I really do.

Silky smoothness is now reinstated, now for the running issue which I believe to be fueling, either fuel injectors or pressure regulator.

You couldn't miss it, yet I did.
I think I was preoccupied with the cam timing but it was a simple job to do, rocker cover off, undo balance shaft sprocket bolt, slide balancer shaft off sprocket, put sprocket in chain in correct place and turn balancer shaft to match and stick it back together.

Damn amatures.

Thank goodness the balancer shaft timing was an easy fix. Sometimes you can be staring at things for so long, you just miss the simplest of mistakes.
