Can you get the VIN as well...or if you have the VIN I can give you the RP number...

I've been digging around looking at VIN numbers and see that RHD only started after a certain VIN and none in the first batch at all, which is not surprising, but what is surprising is the VIN numbers and RP dates don't always match up.

My own car was built before ones with a VIN number ten numbers lower.

At the last cxm rally do u remember the stunning bleck g reg sei that turned up??? Well according to rp numbers my h reg 24v was a LOWER rp number making her okder yet the black one was on a g plate. Work that one out....

2.0 SEi would have been an easier car to sell than the V6 24V . Also holding off registering until the new H reg at time is also likely.

I know of that black SEi. It would be a very nice car with a more gutsy engine than a 2.0.

Obviously your 24v was built and hung around a bit, his was possibly built to order. I can imagine a 24v not being a rapid seller new.

I thought the owner was a bit of a - well... not on here! But a credit to its condition.

As for selling them... stranage how things turn around, put it this way, if both were parked next to each other and in simmilar condition.... Which One Would you Buy...?

My guess is the 24v would go first! Though the 2.oi 8v N/a is just as rare now..

^ Absolutely, but back then a V6-24 was a serious wedge and the 2.0i must have outsold it 1000:1

My first one was a 2.0i. I wanted the diesel but my Boss wouldn't pay the extra..

The 3.0 V6 we tried sounded glorious..

If I recall, it was a manual and we absolutely caned the nuts off it.
