I was hoping you wasn't going to say Nikon, as I'm a Canon fan myself (500D), and I am starting to really like the Nikons. :)

I bought that one new in 2007 and have barely used it.

A friend of mine at work is a die hard Canon fan, we're always at war about Nikon v Canon lol.

Well done, David. It's always good to get home after a difficult journey!

I'm rather jealous of you. I've really been bitten by the XM bug now and would love to find a really good one with a bit more go than my 2.0 SE and it seems you might have done that. I know they are out there, but I am definitely not paying the kinds of prices some vendors seem to think they might be worth :P

...too much in that I've sold the Canon and bought a Nikon! :shock:
I decided to go for the D90 with 18-105mm VR Lens after some looking around - it's a great camera...better than the Canon! :o :)

I've been looking at the Nikon D300S but just can't justify the cost that goes with it!
