Who uses there XM on a daily basis.

I have done for the last 14 years but I tend to use the 406 mostly now on economy grounds but the XM was used twice last week and covered probably over 100 miles. The red one is driven pretty well everday by my son.

I bought my fourth XM 4 years and 8 months ago, 2.5TD VSX, with 88,000 miles (£1200 on ebay, didn't make reserve but bought as highest bidder), and now showing 297,200, nearly retired it last year when pipes burst above the rear crossmember. It is still going strong and runs better than my wifes 2.5TD exclusive which has 175,000. It is still on its original clutch, the engine has never been out. Lots of daily use, very comfortable, good economy. Why use anything else??

I'm retired but still use mine nearly every day. two things I need daily are a wee run in the XM and some G &T's of an evening!

I use mine every day, for work and pleasure, rain or shine.....or snow.
At around 20mpg in traffic, it's not cheap to run either........I must get that 2.1 back on the road.

Im with you there Paul, 20mpg is a bit excessive!

Yet the 2.1's [EARLY} are the opposite, in giving nearly 50mpg! I MUST get my 2.1 sorted, but I guess summers the next slot for that now
