Latest Acquistion!!

Here are some shots of my latest 'project', which I have been grappling with these last few months! I was very lucky to acquire the car from other Forum enthusiasts north of the border, who were looking for a 'good home'. All being well I hope to journey up to Wetherby next month, so hope to see some of you there. With regards, Matthew T.

Matthew that is really clean!! even the cam cover is perfect and usualy they suffer a little paint loss, that is a very good find !!!

Thanks for your comments Guys!! Fortunately the car was mechanically sound and fairly good underneath, although I have had some bodywork improvements, which included significant repairs to one cill, There were also new tyres needed all round, plus a number of cosmetic tasks like replacing the spark plug leads and refixing the centre cubby hole lid etc. I am still trying to find out why there are no reversing lights and one of the rear doors does not work on central locking! Hope to see some of you at Wetherby. Best regards, Matthew T.

Oh also to add, Im led to beleve this is a complete "Cat" less car... meaning all three have been removed

This should then apparently result in 215bhp, rather then the sandard 200bhp. Id been told simply removing the "Cats" release 5bhp each..

I doubt the Cat removal will give that much of an increase and wasn't the standard car actually 194Bhp, or 200ps.

NO Will..

This is the PRV not the PSA te PSA 24v twin Cam belt driven engine is 194 bhp..

the PRV Chain drive single cam per bank engine IS the most powerfull at 200bhp, and remains the fastest and quickest Citroen Factory ever..

Beleve me, Ive done PLEANTY of research into the PRV 24v car... Its something else. You didn't come for a Blast with me at last years CXM did you???

And YES the CATS do releave 5bhp each as theres a freer air flow through the engine - more air more power..

Something I intend to rectify this year..
