Being serious for just a second there is a MK1 rust free tct estate i could lay my sticky little paws on, manual box is shot on it and its either green on grey, think its grey.
Trouble is its way down here and your all the way up there.

XM Soupapes estate anybody? if not there is a silver mk2 hatch thats clean as but its got a 2.1 in that and its functional.

A late S1, ie. 1992/3, 2.0i, 2.1td or V6 12v in sei or sed trim is what you need Paul that would require the least work to convert. I have my 1992 cobalt 12v project, but I currently hope to restore as is! Regards, Matthew T.

Someone in Holland put a 24v in a mk1 estate. It's on the you tubes. Go on Paul.. Why not. It really will be rare then!

I DO NOT want an Estate Russ... Simple as that.

Just been reading about reshells.... If I use another shell, and swap things over, after an inspection the car then gets a Q plate... however Ive a personal Plate..

Its all a bit complex. I think what Id FAR sooner do is strip the car down to her bare bones, and go over all the areas and get them done nicely...

I like the colour, I like the Hatch, I DO NOT want an estate..

Actually S1 VINs commonly rot away from the scuttle area.... S2 VINs are on the inner wing and never rot away..
