Just worked out that 15% of all the registered XM have been canned in the last year and 21% of licensed ones have disappeared.

A while ago I did a count up of the cars that I know, and the ones that CCC members have told membership they own, and it was around 35-40 odd for NI and ROI. At a guess there will be possibly 20 odd cars with people who aren't in CCC or cars that I don't know of.

At least 3 went today, 2 from Peter and 1 from me.
I should manage to process another one next month.
I think that the SORN figure is about 200 or so under actual numbers.
Anything taken off the road more than 4 years ago predates SORN.
For example the one I officially scrapped today was off the road but had no SORN when I bought it for spares last summer.

Not much really to report on the Prestige as haven't done much to it. It's still taxed so it's been getting some infrequent use now and again.

If the summer ever comes, I plan to do some work to the Prestige over the summer after I've finished a few other projects however there is light at the end of the tunnel for those... :)

Edit - added a photo.

Those figures aren't really accurate.

My immaculate S2 V6 is sitting under a cover in the shed staying warm and dry on a SORN at the moment as the weather this summer just hasn't been good enough to get the car on the road so far.

She's MOT'd and ready to go when there's a dry enough spell so that she won't get wet!

David.

If the car is SORN it will be showing in the overall registered figures.

Few pics of the Prestige from today after it was treated to a quick valet at the local Lithuanian "Stage 2" Hand Car Wash down the road - it was looking rather sorry for itself as it was covered in you know what after sitting under a tree... :x

Now much cleaner and has been moved from underneath the tree! Popped some proper XM Mats in it too that I found...

Looking well. Those leather seats have a lovely patina to them. I put some NOS BX rubber mats in the XM, not quite a perfect fit, but close enough.

What cars are you taking to the ICCCR Franklin?
