A belated thank you!

Hi,
Just wanted to send a belated thanks for the help I had on these pages in getting my XM through MOT again....
It had failed on a leaking OSR brake caliper and then also developed a fairly severe leak from the pressure regulator...... Without the help, I wouldn't have known that the caliper was the same as a Xantia or how to overhaul the PR. So..... one £20 caliper from a scrap Xantia and £5 worth of O-rings for the regulator and all is OK.... Yep, £25 to sort it. What would that have cost if I'd left it with the garage to sort?......
The instructions (by Marc61) on how to change the seals were very clear. Turned out it was the seal on the return side. I concur with what others have said.... in 15 years of driving GSs and GSAs I never had a problem with the PR, even on my 180k mile X1.
