Here you are Paul. Took a bit of hunting.

Its not laminated, the granules of glass are in tight, thats why its still in place.

That's the one. Price is about the same too, I remember it being around the £170 mark.

Well its no use without it unfortunately. At least its not an estate! The corresponding piece of glass is NFP.

Good luck trying to remove one from a donor without wrecking it.

Sure is that not what glass cover on insurance is for? ;) ;)

I think you might get a new less expensive non-Citroen glass through a good windscreen fitter Paul, alternatively it is not too big a job to remove the bits and then with some help transfer one from another door, which is exactly what I did on my V6 12v auto! After the glass had been fitted I noticed it had the registration of another car etched along the base, ie. that was the second transfer!! As I mentioned earlier, the only tricky bit is the outer trim that you have to be very careful not to distort. Regards, Matthew T.

Im not worried about the Door glass what so ever!

Sorry Paul I got my wires crossed there, although it might still be worth checking availabilty beyond Citroen. I am not sure that the rear quarter-light original fixing is so very tough as on a car I broke the glass fell out in my hands! Regards, Matthew T.

That's a little worrying...it's meant to be bonded in and form part of the structural rigidity of the chassis.

I can see it being a pig of a job. Sorry Paul...best of luck fixing it...don' t envy you there. :?

I will have a look at the way it is bonded when the weather improves.
Have a pile of recovered glass from scrappers stored in one corner.
All waiting till I get round to cutting the glass out of the remains of the frame.
Thought it was well fixed in otherwise I would have treated it like a windscreen and used the cutting wire insitu.
