I thought she was a blue to but alas.. she's not.. She's a rarer for xm a kinda slate grey..

she's deafenatley not graphite grey..


its such a shame she does NOT have Abs fitted from factory..

that does put me off because despite being a problamatic system when towing it really does help...

Yes, that's why I asked Paul as I couldn't place it. Eyeball the paint code next time you're up at the farm

Wonder if you could retrofit a Teves MK20 ABS? I suggest that for the ease of sensors....

Probably Jim however.. the holes for the sensors in the rear arms are filled in on non Abs cars so would need to source Abs rear arms which wouldn't be a massive issue either.. the rear brakes only have a single feed from the Abs block unlike the front brakes that have one each..

based on the idea that citroen brakes are front based and not split..

actually i wonder if we could do front wheels Only Abs setup? even easyer. would have to fool the Abs into thinking the rear were there...

Paul, that looks great...it'll polish up a treat!
Very interesting colour ...not Cobalt is it....and your rp number looks very close to mine which is 5705. Also for some reason, that number plate is very similar to one I have seen used on Citroen publicity photos of ...I think ....an Sed. Will have to find it and check.

Silver trims look good and the lights ect. Yeah definitely worth saving. Best of luck fixing it up.

There's not a lot to do.. most stuff is here. ive no idea what the rear spheres are like yet the back wouldn't go down but that might be because the sideways box on the exhaust that is hanging down may have been holding her up..

new exhaust which ive got front disks and pads as a matter of course cam belt and water pump .. And clutch idealy because its a bit stiff and biting at the top..

Its not blue Matthew ... when you get close you can see the grey in it. it is a nice colour and it IS a form of grey not blue..my original mistake was thinking she was blue.. but now ive finally seen her it is grey..

There is a really nice pic in google images...will have to try and get, can't work out how to yet on me iPad...of a lighter grey SED used in a Citroen publicity pic ..reg number K82BAN. Close to yours.

I think the colour of yours might be new for 92 as it seems to be featured in the brochure relevant to the introduction of the mk1.5.
It is a very dark slate grey..almost black just like yours. Annoyingly there is no colour chart, so don't know the name ergh!
So over to Matthew to identify!
