That's great news. Considering it's future was in doubt at one point, it's certainly found a good home.

Ok. Two jobs ticked off..

I forgot to list above the noisy and weakening wiper motor..

So firstly swapped the LH display..

Steering wheel off..
Image

This is how the display was showing..
Image

Ideally take the cowling off from around the stalks.. a tip here.. to ease getting the top cover off remove the plugs from the two stalks.. this gives better clearance for getting the top section out..

Now remove the heater front panel.. roatry panel..
Prise out the blower speed and air direction roatrys
Remove the two black screws..
Image

Pull the panel away the middle one will come with it. Pop out the slider lever too.

Image

Remove the four brass torx screws..

Theres two screws under the dash holding the front from below
Image

Image

Remove those..

Then theres two more hidden screws behind the central display.. under the speedo cover cowling..

Remove the two blanking covers
Image

Image

Take the screws out.. then slightly tricky lever the front edge upwards.. carefully..
Image

Image

Be carefull.. it can break and has on this one.. then prise up and towards you away from the clocks..
Image

Then the two hidden screws can be found..
Image

Remove the vents from the centre.. theres snap clips that need prising out to allow the front half housing the three displays towards you..
Image

Disconnect the clock and centre warning and LH display plugs and move it forwards.. theres no need to unplug the lower switchs..

Image
The display is held in with simmilar snap clips like the heater vent section over behind the centre vents..

Remove n replace..

Image

Ahhh thats better

Reassemble!!!

I also swapped out the wiper assey too

Scuttle trim off

Image

Ahh theres the blighter..
Wiper arms off.. 2x 13mm nuts.. the assey is held in by 3 10mm headded bolts.. thats all
Image

Image

Image

Tip.. for removing the assy from the scuttle area.. its a slight fiddle but if you pop off the arm for the nearside wiper it will all come out with a wiggle here n there..
Image

Refit... then press the arm back on.. reasemble

Two down..

Wheel bearing, glove box, and plipper and she be virtually perfect..

Excellent Paul, you should split these and put them in the self help section.
She is coming along now.

Great instructional post Paul.

I need to remove my display panel again and replace it with the one I got last time I was at yours. I will follow this to help me along :P
