My 1993 XM 2.1 SD Auto L322 VCV

Post by Aerodynamica » Wed Jan 23, 2013 4:54 pm

Now that I have 'VCV' running again I thought I'd take some quick pictures before I started work on the glow plugs this afternoon.
Viewed from the flat:

And in the presence of Charlie Brown the Xantia TD also 1993.

This is where I changed the glow plugs out - not at all ideal and was freezing too but could be worse, could be raining...

So running and moveable but lots of little things to change including at least one sphere and would like to do the timing belt to be safe.

She looks lovely Graeme and excellent she's running again

I used to have a blue theme once - two Xantias in Mauritius Blue and both V6s..

Now I have three and all in different colours...

That is a nice colour Graeme and you are lucky to be able to keep an eye on them both from your flat!! Good to hear the few little problems have been sorted out. With regards, Matthew T.

They both look great in that shade of blue. Love the fact they match. Well done fixing her by the way...not easy in this freezing weather.

Did they ever do the Xantia in anthracite I wonder? .....my XM colour! :D

Don't believe so Russ. They did do it in Gris Silex though and that was a lovely shade of peralescent grey. I had a V6 in that shade for a while...

I think know the grey you mean Jim. Very nice. Xantias suit those green grey blue colours. Sable too.

I think you are right Paul and on your thread I had suggested one possibilty might be Silicon Grey (or Gris Silex), which has code ETW. Regards, Matthew T.
