The state of the head was always the worry but, at least visually, it seems to be okay. That's the main reason it's gone for testing. Should know more middle of next week.
The crank is rock solid and it wouldn't surprise me if you're correct about the spun bearing. The block is no more than scrap.
The clutch plate is contaminated with oil and not worth keeping. Even though the 'new' engine has a relatively new clutch in it, for the sake of £100 or so, I'm tempted to buy a brand new clutch to store away just in case.

Fancy the head not getting affected. So.. Replacement bottom end.. New head.. Connect it all back up and she's on her way again..
