Paul. Do you mean Tony's car is the same colour or the V6? I thought the V6 looks like cobalt. It looks in pretty good condition overall.

Sorry, yes, not clear... Tony's car IS the same colour as my SD 2.1 ...

That V6 is quite early to have an autobox and I thought I had the only 'G' plate still around!! It would be good to have some further details of the car that must be worth saving, given the apparent condition, early date and nice colour. I also like the look of your Prestige Tony that I think we have seen before! Regards, Matthew T.

Interesting that the V6 came from Chelmsford, same as my cobalt car, probably from the same dealer, Helix.

I think the V6 must be in Memphis blue given the age Will, ie, the same as the XM Central car! Regards, Matthew T.

Cant be that early, the V6 12v was initially Manual only then auto came quickly soon after..

I beleve XMCentral have a manual V6...

From my memory the car was launched only as a manual in September 1989 with the autobox available from March 1990 and mine was registered in June 1990. Obviously this car could have been registered at any time between March-July 1990. I see that the 24v alloys are fitted that are presumably a later modification. Although I am tempted, I think I have enough V6's in my care including one defective auto box but I hope someone else steps in! Regards, Matthew T.
