Russ, keep changing that autobox fluid at 6k intervals with DEX 2 ONLY, and you shouldn;t have ANY worries!

My mates is on 225k now, and we always do a fluid change at 6k or so! The box is still very smooth too.

Oh yes... I definitely plan on doing that, infact regardless of mileage it will be done every year. I don't tend to do 6k in a year... So it will certainly be well looked after. I have done it twice since I have bought it. But this curious 3-4 change is a little concern, but it does that when fully loaded up. But at the moment it seems to be fine, although I still think the kickdown is quite sensitive in forth.

More concerned about getting other jobs sorted!!!

Looking good there paul! hardly any rust other than crusty spheres and dodgey wheels ;)

Bosch pump as well?? thats a good way to use your old oily fluids in it without worry :)

Does it have cruise as well and towbar?

If you want electro valves i have the 2 off the xantia if they are any use?

They are lovely. I love autoboxes to bits :D

I drive them too often and manuals not enough now. Got in Robyn's 207 and tried to engage gear by putting the brake on rather than pressing the clutch. And then I didn't seem to appreciate that it had more than three gears and that it wouldn't change them by itself....

Russ, it's good to have a spare ;)

She isn;t at all too bad what so ever. I might just need those electro valves from you as this one has s h i t r e a c t i v e 2 on it, so two electro valves front and rear... Shame, as the K reg SD of Mr M's is H1 and no electro valves.. Still, as long as it doesn;t leak, Ill just stick nice soft spheres on her.

Dodgy wheels not mine, for the bin, well, back to my landlords, Ive got "Proper" V6 24v alloys to go on...

Towbar YES!
Cruise.. Not YET. But on these its the Vaccum setup like the Xantias.. so that will be fun setting up and installing..

Is the wiring in place for the cruise Paul?

Even if it's not the job of wiring it in is not difficult really..

Some of it might be Jim, I found a spare plug behind the drivers headlight, that Im sure the cruise harness to the pump on the passenger side plugs into..

I shall know more n more as I start on her. Ill work back forwards, from carpet out, upwards. As I want to put rear electric windows in too...

What I am coming round to thinking Jim..... Still enjoy an auto very much, just don't like it when they do things you don't expect!

Oooo....now, soft spheres...quite like the sound of that. I feel mine might benefit from some hydro flush stuff next year.

Well let me know when someone's heading over to yours Paul and I can hand them over to you. They still have spheres on which will likely be ready for the bin as they are proper crispy!!

I forgot to ask who the blue spoiler is for as well?!?
