They are good. Nice and toasty :D although today..or this evening I should say, mine wanted the aircon on.... ;) it was 1-2 degrees...either it's gone nuts, or it was trying to dehumidify, which was clever of it.

Yikes.....that's what I mean by a can of worms. Open it and wires everywhere. Okay the Haynes is a simplified diagram...and can be helpful, and is displayed as an electrical diagram should be drawn....but it doesn't bare any resemblance to what you actually discover lurking behind all the trim. What a nightmare!

Best of luck sorting it out. I really don't envy you there Paul.

It's nowhere as bad as it looks...

Paul, do you have the pukka S1 diagrams rather than the BoL 'typical' ones? They'll be a lot better for you...

The Citroen workshop manual for the Mk1 XM only contains LHD wiring diagrams.
I think this is because the looms have common plugs just different wire lengths where needed.
The engine loom is specific to engine type but plugs into the main loom.
There were 4 or 5 changes during the Mk1 production run but I have not yet found all the loom diagrams.
Unfortunately most dealers assumed each change replaced the previous page and destroyed old copies.
As a result few ex dealer manuals are complete.
Not anywhere as easy as finding Mk2 wiring information.
Would look in the French manuals but they are all boxed and in store ready for a move.

I have a disk with the schematics on, which Robert Norton kindly sent me.

What exactly is it you want?

Send me your address by PM and I'll send you a disk.
