Ive got another electro valve comming back eventually thats leaking.. ive got one off my xantia and this one potentially but wint know till i get under it possibly monday now too whats given..

This looks like a much better prospect Paul...autobox rebuild, working glovebox catch AND strut....yeah this will make a nice SED! I look forward to your updates on this. So get cracking!!!!

I thought you were doing up the 24valve for yourself?

There a bit of a difference here vince. 24v is a weekend car.... which is not good enough. I want an every day car so this will have to be it.

Body paint is good. Laquer lifting on offside wing BUT i have a perfect one.. but all will be seen. The main thing is... she dont need welding .. yyyyyyyaaaaaaayyyyyyy <jumpig around waving his arms around> !!!!!!

That looks in great condition as a starting point.

I wouldn't bother doing an auto to manual conversion as it will cost and with that mileage, won't be worth any extra. If the gearbox is duff, I have a good one.

Theres NOTHING wrong with the box, its TOO also had a rebuild at about 200k, so only done 44k. It wont cost me ANYTHING to convert it...!

The conversion is more of an Economy thing. But Ill see how I get on in auto form first.

They're lovely autoboxes are...nothing to worry there..... ahem.....
If you do do a manual swap, I would personally be very interested in how that is done.

That's great news it doesn't need welding too. You'll be sorted out for next years XM anniversary too.
