NO Its not on this One Russ.. Its a dodgy connection between the plug and window motor. It did it to me worked when installed, then stopped. Took the car off, waggled the motor plugs and it worked again.

Black Xm's battery now as flat as a pancake. It's smaller than it should be and my charger is refusing to charge it, so on to a trickle charger and see. I was hoping to get it out of the garage to finish the prep while the sun was shining, but as always, it has other ideas!

Took the diesel for a long run yesterday, with a good mix of M25 jam, country road and town potholes and it performed superbly. Wonderful beastie.

Right, the diesel XM is currently residing on a ramp at the specialists having dumped close to 3 litres of coolant into the front footwell, Mr Williams thinks it's the pipes into the heater matrix.

Meanwhile the Black XM has had two new front corner spheres fitted (comfort not speed) and the front ride has improved fantastically. No more clonking over manhole covers, ridges and small potholes. The back still thumps a bit, but the ride is now at a level where I am exceptionally comfortable in it and in selling it.

A matched pair of XMs

Another interesting vehicle at Ray Williams - the combination of colour, moss and age gives this Landie the most glorious patina!

When I bought mine I noticed a spray mark on the dash low down... I thought then, hmmmmm matrix. But mine appears to be fine. Must have been a previous problem and the evidence not cleared up. Not done it again.
That's quite impressive though loosing 3 litres of coolant into your footwell. Quite a drastic way of having a foot bath in your car Charles!
Make sure you dry out that foam, that would have loved supping that lot up.

Great news on the V6s' ride.
