Nard had nothing to do with the new brakes (they were done in the UK last summer) - he simply fitted the new ecu, fuel injectors and sensors. I wouldn't want anyone to think him responsible, he isn't. I asked him for help in identifying the problem, confirming your diagnosis immediately Marc.

Thanks indeed for your help. I suspect getting the parts together is going to be a big issue, Nard has offered any help too.

Much as I like the odd challenge, the sheer number and likely cost are causing me to divert too much time to sorting them. So it is time to cut my losses on a number and move on. Long overdue in my case to face some small degree of reality, and time for the nightmare to end.
