On my Holiday journey in france and Spain i never saw a Xm plenty of Xantis and only 1 C6 in 4000 Miles mind you a lot of the driving was done at night perhaps the Xm's dont come out at night because of the poor headlights. LOL.

I always see a few here and there when I am in France. But usually just in a car park and mostly looking used every day. Headlights in the rain mostly, are indeed poor.

Le Mans track action!

Well, ok. It's parked and I went and stood behind a fence at one of the corners.

Oddly, didn't see one XM today, but did see two C6s! Loads of Xantias too, and a few BXs. Have now hit 10,000 miles with this car. Good times indeed. I really must do something about the clutch though. Maybe I can celebrate our one year anniversary (about a month away) with a change of clutch. Maybe cable too?

You can always start with the cable...see how that goes. So did you try her on the track?

The track is actually just a road, so you can't go faster than 90km/h. How dreary.

Would like to try a cable. I've got a lot of creaking at the pedal end.

And congrats to the XM. 128,000 miles clocked up today. Has done 700 miles so far on this tank. Tempting to try and get 1000 miles from the tank, but fuel here is so cheap (1.07 Euros per litre) that I suspect I'll be filling up before attempting that milestone.

Oh look! It's 12 months to the day since I started this thread, and bought this car! Lovely.

Now 12 months to the day since I collected it. So I thought I'd commemorate it with a blog post. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CRXr_YYUAAAiOry.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I tried to examine why it is I like the car so much, but I can't really say. I just do.

Congratulations on the anniversary. I'm not entirely sure why I like XMs so much either. They just have ... something.

Ah, you could be on the money there! C6 aside, and they're unlikely to go through the same 'banger' phase as the XM, which means I'll never afford one.
