Ah, I think my driver's door is also leaking. Mats seem damp and there is water on the sill lip. After rain last night, the passenger side was still dry at least!

What about hot water. Maybe not boiling, might shock the plastic. Or a hot damp flannel or towel.
If that works, you need to push down and prise the bottom out. It will crack, as in a noise, not break...hopefully, and then it lifts off. Many though have different techniques on how to get them off. But I have not broken one yet..... He says.

I was going to ask about the Club XM approved method of removing the trims. I've done it once and have been in therapy ever since. :-)

Despite the adjustment to the passenger door and parking on level ground I'm still getting water ingress. Until I can get to the scuttle area, I've treated the 'ol girl to a car cover. Actually it was an early birthday present from my mum & dad.

After further sunroof bodgery failed, I may have to resort to similar measures! I've got a 2CV-sized cover. Should cover most of it...

I bought an extra large cover from Halfrauds and it's a good fit. Not too tight or too loose.

I think Ian is waiting until some dry weather appears. Which it does occasionally in Wales.
