Lube the brake doseur pivot...the wiper linkage wouldn't go amiss, either.

The xm is still going strong. My mum sadly passed away after suffering a severe stroke whilst on holiday with dad, so apologies for lack of input over the past couple of months.

I've not driven it much lately as I'm now my dad's sole carer, but she does get a run out at least once a week. Oil/filter changed the other week and I've seen to one or two electrical gremlins.

Very sorry to hear about you mum Mark.
Electrical gremlins are most unwelcome visitors, anything serious?

Just the alarm and the n/s mirror. Alarm sorted when I cleaned out the scuttle panel and the mirror was corroded contacts inside the door to body screw fit rubber conduit thingy. The back end was occasionally dropping whilst holding the car on the brake whilst still in drive, but a top up of the LHM sorted it. Still returning around 42mpg around town and over 55 on a long run.

A long time since I last posted. The XM has been residing at NFC Autocare for the past few months whilst various jobs have been carried out. Sourced a used window regulator from a fellow Citroen enthusiast- thanks Darren - so once I've got that fitted the XM should be good to go once more. I've a set of refurbished wobbly webs shod with lovely new Michelin tyres all ready to fit. Hopefully I'll be taking the XM to the Chevrons rally.

The Chevrons Rally is at Little Horwood near Milton Keynes Ray and the dates I have are 9th-11th September. Hopefully see you both there and it was a very nice event last year with a well established venue. Regards, Matthew T.
