Thanks chaps and I purchased my spheres as usual from AEP Will and the brand is IFHS, which seem to be made in France rather appropriately. I will certainly consider the idea of obtaining a rig for re-gassing, although in this case two spheres were ruptured I think! That is very well remembered about the oil leak Dean and the source turned out to be an adjacent blanking plug copper washer as I recall! With regards, Matthew T.

Be interesting to see how close the colours match up between the two cars.

I have just returned from a work trip to North Yorkshire with nearly 600 miles covered over three days and the car was a delight to drive!! The only problem was an insecure recently fitted driveshaft outer gaiter that spun out a little grease, although luckily I had taken a few tools along and managed a temporary roadside fix. I have now hopefully more reliably attached both driveshaft outer gaiters and also thoroughly waxoiled the sills, rear subframe and spare wheel carrier and mounting brackets etc. I have a small lhm drip from around the rear centre sphere but otherwise all seems well! Regards, Matthew T.

Excellent stuff. Such a good looking car. 8-)

I'm liking the period photo shoot with the Audi 100 avant! Another good looking car. :)

Many thanks Russ and here is another photo of the Audi that I agree is quite nice! With regards, Matthew T.
