I believe the wife is cheaper to run than a mistress, although fewer smiles per mile. Certainly cheaper to keep a wife than get rid of one at any rate, on reflection im not sure the previous statement is completely accurate in relation to where the XM sits in terms of cost for the above.

Put me down for one Russ, the wife and i enjoy a mutual hatred of each other you can only really get to experience after a certain amount of time together so i dont think she will make a fuss.

Been away for a week.
Glad to say she started up first time
And got her washed:

Should the clutch be really heavy?
I keep meaning to ask this question.

Another 2 weeks have gone by... We are still going strong... (fingers crossed)
New foible, currently according to the thermometer we are basking in 20 degree heat...
Anyone had this? Everything else seems fine.

The temperature sensor fails frequently. The same sensor (6445F9) has been fitted to most PSA vehicles for the last 20 years, so easily available (search ebay for that number). The replacements come with bare wire ends, so you have to cut and solder the wires.

I think that you can (with dexterity) replace them with the mirror still on the car, but I removed the mrror to do mine.

Alternitavely, keep the 20 degree heat, that's a nice tempreature. Not too hot, not too cold...
